Understanding The EMDR Circle Membership Levels

Trauma Specialists Training Institute consists of trainers, consultants, and many other “behind the scenes” team members who share a passion for training all therapists to treat trauma well. We aim to do so by offering a variety of products for learners at every phase of their trauma training journey.

One of the most unique products offered by Trauma Specialists Training Institute is our EMDR Circle. It is a product for EMDR trained clinicians who want to continue their learning beyond Basic Training with opportunities to stay connected to fellow trainees, consultants, and trainers.

The EMDR Circle consists of three membership levels (Basic, Consultation Plus, Certification Track) with each membership level offering access to a variety of learning tools including a 24/7 learning library, monthly chats, monthly Q&A sessions, consultation, and advanced learning groups. One of the most frequently asked questions about our membership program is “How do I make the most of my membership?” Here’s how to get the most out of your membership, optimize your learning to become a trauma specialist, and stay connected with like-minded EMDR clinicians.

The EMDR Circle Learning Library

All levels of our membership receive access to our Learning Library. This is truly an incredible resource and we are constantly updating and adding new content!

If you haven’t logged in yet, please do! You will find a variety of resources from all our trainers and consultants. We are passionate about teaching in a way that works for a variety of learners because we understand the beautiful, unique complexities of the human brain. This is reflected in the variety of content you will find in the Learning Library, which includes:

Monthly Meet Ups and Social Media

Another benefit that can be enjoyed by all membership levels are two monthly group options as well as access to a members only Facebook Group. A link to access it is easily accessible in your Learning Library. You can see posts from our trainers and consultants as well as post questions and get answers (no HIPAA protected information please).

The monthly groups consist of our Coffee & Chat and a Q&A session.

Our Coffee & Chat is an opportunity for therapists to use a break in their schedule to relax and chat with other EMDR therapists. Conversations range from sharing about new learning to pets to astrological signs! It’s a great way to get a break and connect with people who understand what we do.

Our Q&A is pretty self explanatory! It is a group led by an EMDR Trainer or Consultant that provides an opportunity to ask questions and get answers.

Whether you want to attend each group for the whole hour or pop in for 5 minutes, we would love to see you. It is important to note that neither group is intended for consultation and cannot be counted towards consultation hours.

Leveling Up

Members who join the Consultation Plus level get access to everything mentioned above as well as a monthly EMDR Group Consultation led by an EMDR Consultant-In-Training or EMDR Consultant. The groups are limited to 4 participants so everyone has time to present at least one case and the groups do count toward groups hours needed for EMDR Certification.

If you are signed up at the Consultation Plus level, please take advantage of this group even if you aren’t sure if you intend to pursue certification. It is great to continue your learning and get ongoing support from a consultant of your choosing.

That reminds me! We offer group options at a variety of different days and times so you can find something that works for your schedule. We are therapists so we understand how challenging scheduling can be sometimes!

Certification Track

Our Certification Track Membership includes the most monthly benefits and is designed for the EMDR clinician who wants to fast track their certification process and get a deal while they are doing it.

The Certification Track Membership includes everything mentioned above (Access to the Learning Library, Monthly Coffee & Chat, Monthly Q&A, Access to EMDR Circle Facebook group, one monthly EMDR group consultation) AND:

1 individual EMDR consultation per month (with the consultant of your choice)
1 Practice Group
1 Demo Group
2 TSTI Advanced EMDR Trainings

Specialized and Advanced Tracks

In addition to the above mentioned membership levels, TSTI also offered more specialized and advanced tracks. Specifically our Beginner Cohort Group and our CIT Track.

Our Beginner Cohort Group is a specialized track for EMDR clinicians who take their Basic Training with TSTI. With the Beginner Cohort, you have two membership level options:

The Beginner Cohort Group: Includes all the benefits of the Consultation Plus Group with one difference. The monthly consultation group is a private, closed group which consists of only people who took Basic Training with you and you all of your groups with them! The Beginner Cohort Consultation Groups take time to review and build on information learned during Basic Training to continue to enhance your learning with the opportunity to stay connected to the same group of clinicians as you learn. These relationships can be great if you want to pursue certification and will need peer recommendations! This requires a 10 month commitment.
The Beginner Cohort Group + Certification Track: Includes all the benefits of the Certification Track with the above mentioned specialized monthly consultation group.

Our CIT Track is an Advanced Track for clinicians who have EMDR Certification status and would like to pursue becoming a Consultant-In-Training. Read more about this track here.
