What is a Practice Session?
During a Practice Group, the consultant chooses a protocol to review with the group. Once the consultant has reviewed the protocol, the participants of the group practice the protocol in Zoom breakout rooms. Each group would ideally consist of 3 participants: a therapist, client and observer. Because of the length of the group, there will not be an opportunity to rotate roles. The consultant will go between breakout rooms and offer support/feedback as needed. If the practice group consists of 2 participants, the consultant can serve as one of the group members. If the practice group has 3 participants, the consultant can serve as one of the participant roles (therapist, client, observer).
