EMDR and Telehealth with Kids
Getting started thinking creatively while using EMDR therapy with kids via telehealth.
Telehealth is a viable alternative to in-person therapy, however, there are many barriers to consider when utilizing this intervention while working with clients, especially children, who could benefit from EMDR. As a result of the global pandemic (COVID-19), clinicians need access to training, resources and additional tools when providing EMDR to child clients via Telehealth. This presentation will provide resources and best practices to consider with the guidelines for utilizing EMDR via Telehealth with children as outlined by EMDRIA.
