An Introduction to Trauma and EMDR
A Closer Look at Trauma and EMDR as an Effective Treatment Modality
Are you a therapist looking to effectively treat trauma in your clients? Do you find yourself referring clients out when they don't make progress towards their treatment goals?
This training is perfect for therapists who are curious about trauma and EMDR but have not completed EMDR Basic Training. We understand that getting trained in EMDR requires a significant time and financial investment. However, EMDR will change your clinical practice for the better by offering an opportunity for clients to heal from their trauma instead of simply learning techniques to manage the symptoms.
In this course, you'll gain a better understanding of the neurobiology of trauma and how EMDR functions to effectively treat that trauma. You'll also get tips about how to provide psychoeducation about trauma to clients in a trauma-informed way. Finally, we'll take the time to talk about what to expect from an EMDR Basic Training and important things to consider before making the time investment. Ultimately, even if you don't train with us, we want all therapists to get trained in EMDR to be able to treat trauma.
Don't wait - get a better understanding of what to expect in an EMDR training, where you can enhance your therapeutic skills and effectively treat trauma in your clients.
